We’ve released several new games for the past month. Actually it was the month of the puzzle games as all the games were in this category. Puzzle games are relaxing and fun, so we are happy to have them on our game portal. I’ll make short introduction for every one of our new games.

First of all and my favorite – Hexagram 2 (Power) the next game in the sequence. The same gameplay but now with power ups! Swap four to get a bonus hexagram, swap it again to match three and you will get extra points. Swap five and you will get a black hexagram, swap it with any other hexagram and all the stones with the same color will be removed from the board. Hexagram 2 comes in two modes – classic and time mode. In classic mode the you don’t have to worry about anything, there is no game over. In time mode, the swapping is against the clock so if the time is up its game over!

Hexagram is one of the games developed by our team last month. The game has simple mechanics and easy and addicting gameplay and this was our main goal during the development.

How we get the idea to make this game? Actually we are developing a 2.5D strategy game with map with hexagon tiles. We have some free time as we waited for some resources to be done so we make several experiments with hexagon tiles. Hexagram is just one of these experiments. I didn’t expect this game to become this popular. When we found ourselves swapping hexagons for hours instead of working we made the decision to publish the game on our portal and distribute it through Mochi Distribution Service and FlashGameDistribution. Even though the game wasn’t featured anywhere it got more than 30k views per day at the beginning. It was great surprise because you can see how simple it actually is.
